Ocean Words: Your Underwater Toolkit

Underwater School

Imagine your brain is like a lighthouse. To shine its light far and wide, the lighthouse needs strong beams. Words are like those beams of light. When you learn a new word, it's like adding a powerful new beam to your lighthouse. The more words you learn, the more beams your lighthouse has, and the further and brighter it can shine!

ACIDIFICATION

Ocean acidification happens when the ocean absorbs too much carbon dioxide from the air. This increases the acidity of the ocean water, like adding too much lemon juice. This process reduces the amount of carbonate in the water, which is a crucial ingredient for many marine organisms to build their shells and skeletons.
