HEADINGS AND NAVIGATION MENU
HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language which is a standardised system for tagging text files to achieve font, colour, graphic, and hyperlink effects on websites.
Screen readers use HTML tags to understand the content of a web page and what elements are available for the viewer to select.
HTML heading tags (used to separate headings and sub-headings on a website page) are used to convey a document’s structure and navigation menus (which categorise the content you see on a website) are marked up as HTML lists.
